PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS
What You Should Be Comfortable With
Walking & Terrain
Historic streets in La Laguna and Puerto de la Cruz include cobbled surfaces. Pavements can be uneven in places. Typical walking distances are between 1–3 km at a time, always at a relaxed pace.
Altitude at Teide
The visit to Mount Teide reaches approximately 2,000 metres above sea level. Guests should be comfortable at moderate altitude. We travel by vehicle to altitude, so there is very little walking at high elevation.
Means of Transport
All longer journeys are by private vehicle with driver. Short local transfers may be by taxi. Due to steps, historic streets, hills and transport logistics, the experience is not suitable for wheelchairs or guests who require mobility aids. However, the pace is relaxed and there are regular opportunities to rest throughout the week.
