Important Information & Disclaimer

We want every guest to enjoy a relaxed and memorable experience with Ladies Touring Tenerife. The following information explains important practical details about our hosted experiences.

Please read this page carefully before travelling.

Contents

1. Nature of the Experience

Ladies Touring Tenerife provides hosted small-group experiences designed to help women explore Tenerife in a friendly and supportive environment.

Our experiences are not package holidays. Guests arrange their own flights and accommodation and join the group once they arrive in Tenerife.

Our role is to host the group, organise activities and help guests enjoy a safe and comfortable experience.

Although the experience is designed for women only, this applies to the guest group itself. It does not apply to suppliers, drivers, guides, assistants or venue staff who may be present during the experience.

2. Activity Levels

Our experiences involve a variety of activities that may include walking, sightseeing and exploring local areas.

Some activities may involve:

  • Walking on uneven surfaces
  • Steps or inclines
  • Outdoor environments
  • Warm weather conditions
  • Higher altitude locations

Guests should ensure they are comfortable with moderate levels of walking and outdoor activity.

Please read our Activity Level & Suitability page before travelling:

Activity Level & Suitability

3. Altitude & Environment

Some parts of Tenerife are located at higher elevations, including visits to Mount Teide National Park.

At higher altitudes some individuals may experience mild symptoms such as dizziness or shortness of breath.

Conditions at altitude can feel much cooler than coastal areas, particularly during evening or night visits. Guests should bring suitable warm clothing to remain comfortable.

If you have any medical conditions that could be affected by altitude, you should seek medical advice before travelling and disclose this when completing your Health & Travel Declaration form.

4. Personal Health Responsibility

Guests are responsible for ensuring they are medically fit to travel and participate in the activities included in the experience.

We are not medically qualified to assess individual fitness or health conditions.

Guests will be asked to complete a Health & Travel Declaration confirming that they have reviewed the activity requirements and are comfortable participating.

If you have any concerns about walking, altitude, mobility or outdoor conditions, you should seek medical advice before travelling.

5. Itinerary Flexibility

Our itineraries are carefully planned, however some flexibility is necessary.

Changes may occasionally be required due to:

  • Weather conditions
  • Safety considerations
  • Local regulations
  • Supplier availability
  • Operational requirements
  • Road closures or environmental restrictions

If changes are necessary, suitable alternatives will be arranged where reasonably possible.

Further information about the booking process and guest responsibilities can be found in our Booking Terms and Terms & Conditions.

6. Shared Excursions

Some excursions and activities may be operated by licensed local providers.

Due to local regulations, these activities may sometimes include participants outside our group.

This is normal practice for many excursions within Tenerife and does not change the hosted nature of our experience.

7. Weather & Environmental Conditions

Tenerife generally enjoys excellent weather, however conditions can vary depending on location, season and altitude.

Outdoor activities may be affected by:

  • Heat
  • Wind
  • Rain
  • Cooler evening temperatures
  • Local environmental conditions such as Saharan dust or Calima

Where necessary, adjustments may be made to help ensure guest comfort and safety.

Guests should bring suitable clothing and protective items for changing conditions. Recommended items may include sunscreen, a hat, light clothing for sunny days, a rain layer, and warm layers for cooler evenings or higher altitude visits.

8. Third-Party Suppliers

Some services and activities are provided by independent local suppliers.

These may include transport providers, excursion companies and activity operators.

While we carefully select our partners, these services operate independently and we cannot accept responsibility for their actions, performance or operational decisions.

Some services are delivered in Spain and may be subject to local licensing rules, safety requirements and operational regulations.

9. Flights & Accommodation

Ladies Touring Tenerife does not sell or arrange flights or accommodation.

Guests are responsible for making their own travel and hotel arrangements.

While we may suggest accommodation options, these recommendations do not form part of the booking contract but must follow the booking framework, including the required hotel arrangement.

Any issues relating to flights or accommodation must be addressed directly with the relevant airline, hotel or provider.

Guests should not book flights or accommodation until they have received written confirmation that their experience week has been confirmed.

10. Guest Behaviour & Group Harmony

Our experiences are designed to be friendly, relaxed and supportive for all guests.

We ask all participants to behave respectfully toward fellow guests, hosts and local providers.

If a guest’s behaviour is considered disruptive, unsafe or negatively impacts the experience of others, we reserve the right to take appropriate action.

In rare situations this may include asking a guest to leave an activity or the experience. No refunds will be given if a guest is asked to leave due to inappropriate behaviour.

Our priority is the comfort, safety and enjoyment of the whole group.
